  1. 2024 Global Skills Challenge

    The 2024 Global Skills Challenge is a simulated international competition, an important part of the Australian Skillaroos training in the lead up to the international competition. This event is a four-day run through of the proposed International Competition by the Skillaroos to competition conditions, including assessment using the International marking scale typically held 3-4 months prior to the International Competition using test projects if released, or past projects in 32 Skills. The competitions will be hosted by 4-5 Training Facilities in Melbourne, Victoria.
    To increase competition and benchmark skills – other member countries are invited to participate (at their own cost) – WorldSkills Australia is anticipating 500 competitors, experts, translators and officials will attend from WorldSkills Member Nations including the Australian Team.

  2. Taitaja2024 Kuopio - Finnish National Skills Competition

    Almost 50 skills, over 400 competitors and tens of thousands of visitors together create Taitaja, the biggest educational event in Finland. In 2024, the event is organised by Savo Vocational College together with Skills Finland and their partners. Taitaja aims to promote vocational education, improve connections between vocational schools and companies, and increase the awareness of vocational education and professional skills. The event is free of charge and open for public.

  3. WorldSkills Croatia National Competition 2024

    National Competition of Vocational School Students – WorldSkills Croatia is the biggest event in Croatia in area of education and training and biggest skills competition in Southeast Europe. It will be held for the fifth time from 13th to 15th May 2024.
    The goal of this competition is promotion of vocational education and training, as well as it's innovation and excellence. Competition puts emphasis on the importance of vocational skills, the connection of education system with labor market and also with higher education. Event will be open for public – visitors from Croatia as well as international guests and visitors. Competition attracts students from primary schools, parents, teachers and media, on this way it strengthens the image, visibility and attractiveness of vocational education.

  5. First International Friendly Skills Competition IFSC 2024

    Thirteen countries participate in the competition from 11-17 May 2024 which is being held in Iran, green city of Gorgan. Competitors from Iran, Japan, Korea, Russia, Malaysia, Singapore, Bangladesh, South Africa, Niger, Taiwan, Kazakhstan, Brazil and Ghana compete in six skills including Mobile Application Development, Web Technologies, IT Network System Administration, IT Software Solutions for Business, Mechanical Engineering CAD and Graphic Design Technology.

  6. 1st IRAN International Friendly Skills Competition (IFSC 2024)

    Technical and Vocational Training Organization of Iran, also known as WorldSkills Iran, will hold the first Iran International Friendly Skills Competitions from 10-16 May 2024. The IFSC 2024 will be held in beautiful and green city of Gorgan located in north eastern Iran. in this competition, competitors from eight countries will participate in a seven-days great event and prepare themselves for WorldSkills Leon 2024. They will compete in six skills including Mobile Application Development, Web Technologies, IT Network System Administration, IT Software Solution for Business, Mechanical Engineering CAD and Graphic Design Technology. On the sidelines of the event, the teams will have an excellent opportunity to share their expertise and learn about the capacities for cooperation in skills training.

  7. SkillsLatvia2024 - Latvian National Skills Competition

    In May 2024, 8th National Young Professionals Competition SkillsLatvia 2024 will gather around 120 competitors, who will showcase their talents and skills in 20 different skills competitions.     The Jobs Tournament (Yrkeskampen) is a contest for year 8 classes aimed at highlighting vocational training courses and inspiring students to begin thinking about future training and job opportunities. The tournament focuses on vocational matters and physical hands-on assignments based on upper secondary vocational training courses offered in Sweden. On this date the national finals take place and the classes with the best results in the country compete against each other.

  2. Swedish National Skills Competition (Yrkes-SM)

    The Swedish National Skills Competition are the largest investment in increasing interest and recruitment to vocational education in Sweden. Through a large and content-rich competition and event every second year, hundreds of Sweden's most professional young people compete and measure their strengths against each other in over 60 professions. This is also a big platform to select the competitors for Swedish national team, to compete in WorldSkills Competition and EuroSkills.

  4. The Danish National Skills Competition 2024

    The Danish National Skills Competition is the largest single competition, education and training event in Denmark, and we expect around 50.000 visitors. 300 young finalists will compete in 47 different competitions and after 3 exciting competitions days 47 new Danish champions will be celebrated. In addition, thousands of secondary school students will visit and discover which professions they like which helps them choose their future study. The main objective of the event is to improve the quality and attractiveness of vocational education and training. The Danish National Skills Competition includes 47 different Competition Skills and 34 Skills as showcasing.

  5. SpainSkills Competition 2024

    This competition will take place in Madrid, at the fairgrounds (IFEMA) between April 9 and 13, 2024. More than 500 students or recent graduates in vocational training from the educational system will compete in 29 skills.

  6. Hong Kong Junior Skills Competition 2024

    Riding on the success of the Hong Kong Junior Skills Competition (HKJSC) in 2022, the second HKJSC will be organised in 2024. Seven skills competitions will be offered including :

    - Mechatronics
    - Pâtisserie and Confectionery
    - Visual Merchandising
    - Wall and Floor Tiling

    All local secondary schools are invited to nominate their students to participate in the skills competitions to stretch their potentials to the full. Participating students will be provided a series of briefing and training which will equip them with the relevant knowledge and skills to better prepare themselves for the competition and develop their interests from there.

    Skills The Finals, the Dutch National Championship, will take place 21 and 22 March in the Brabanthallen in Den Bosch. Over 600 finalists will compete in 60 professional competitions. In addition, secondary school students can discover which professions they like which helps them choose their future study. As in the real world, the practice of professions is simulated in our “try a skill” activities. We have up to 90 professional challenges and hope to welcome 20.000 visitors.

    EuroSkills Gdansk 2023 is scheduled to take place between 5-9 September 2023 at AMBEREXPO Gdańsk. Poland expects to welcome 600 skilled young professionals from 32 countries to the event to participate in competitions and host demonstration events in 43 different skills (40 official and 3 host skills). Around 100,000 visitors from across Poland and abroad are expected to attend. Gdańsk is the capital and largest city of the Pomerania Province in Poland. A popular tourist, cultural, business and academic centre, the city is Poland's principal seaport and the country's fourth-largest metropolitan area.
    EuroSkills Gdańsk 2023 will be organised in partnership by Poland’s Foundation For The Development Of The Education System (FRSE), WorldSkills Poland, the City of Gdańsk and AMBEREXPO Gdańsk.

    The WorldSkills National Championships are run every two years and are Australia’s largest and most successful vocational education excellence competition.   3. The 18th Youth Monozukuri Skills Competition of Japan

    This competition is for youths 20 years old or younger who are currently learning skills at vocational abilities development institutions, technical high schools or other such institutes of learning and have not started work. This competition was launched in 2005 for the purpose of providing them with goals and widening the horizons of young skilled workers.

  1. WorldSkills ASEAN 2023

    WorldSkills ASEAN is the largest showcase of professional and technical skills in the ASEAN (The Association of Southeast Asian Nations) region and brings the objectives of the WorldSkills movement to Southeast Asia. The skills competition was initiated by an agreement among ASEAN member countries in 1993 and aims to promote and raise skills standards in the ASEAN region to an international level, as well as to motivate youths to develop their skills and knowledge. ASEAN member countries take turns to host the biennial WorldSkills ASEAN Competition. For the first time, Singapore will be hosting the 13th WorldSkills ASEAN Competition from 22-27 July 2023 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. The competition will see top youth talents from the 10 ASEAN member countries competing in 22 skills areas. Apart from the skills competition, WorldSkills ASEAN Singapore 2023 will also feature interactive activities to promote skills and a skilled career to youths and the public.
