About the faculty

Experts play a critical role at WorldSkills Competitions, representing their country or region and sharing their experience in their skill. Anyone who served in an official role of Expert at a WorldSkills Competition is eligible to join the Experts Faculty.

Quarterly webinar series

The WorldSkills Experts Faculty has begun a quarterly webinar series on a variety of topics selected by Members of the WSEF.

In January 2025, the WSEF will be holding its fifth webinar in the series, focusing on How is AI being implemented in industry. Please stay tuned for updates on how to participate in this webinar.

 


 

Expert training programmes

The WorldSkills Experts Faculty (WSEF) have developed a series of Expert training programmes that are available to all WorldSkills Members. Members can choose between “Development of WorldSkills Experts” which aims to explain the WorldSkills fundamentals for Experts. The “Skill specific Competition mentorship” is a more in-depth training programme that covers the application of skill specific documentation and skill dynamics at WorldSkills Competitions.
