Shaping a Skills-Driven Future

WorldSkills Conference 2026 opened with an official address by Premier Li Qiang. His message of support was followed by a rallying cry from WorldSkills President, Francis Hourant, who said, “If we want the world to change, we have to change. Samsung booth opens

Competitors inspire the next generation

Students from China and around the world will be exploring the NECC on day two of WorldSkills Shanghai 2026. First they can watch the Competitors in action in the workshops, and then they have a chance to test their own skills at one of the 64 Try-a-Skill stands at WorldSkills Expo. Choose which skill you want to learn more about using the event app.

WorldSkills Conference 2026 continues

The second day of this premier global platform explores how technology is reshaping the future of skills. Sessions will look at AI’s real impact on tomorrow’s workforce, practical tools for embracing digital innovation, and new ways to transform teaching and training. As part of WorldSkills Expo, the Check-in Challenge covers 80 check-in points across the National Exhibition and Convention Center.
