Celebrate your achievement: claim your WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 digital badge

The WorldSkills community can now download digital credentials as proof of their achievements at WorldSkills Shanghai 2026.

Almost 3,000 WorldSkills Champions, Experts, Skill Competition Managers, Interpreters, Team Leaders, Workshop Managers, and Delegates have already claimed their WorldSkills Digital Badge as a signal of their contribution to the 48th WorldSkills Competition.

The badges are digital images with WorldSkills-verified metadata embedded within them. They can be used in email signatures or digital resumés, as well as added to social media profiles including LinkedIn, Facebook, and X.

Digital badges are available for those who took part in WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, as well as WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017, WorldSkills Kazan 2019, WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition, and WorldSkills Lyon 2024.

Digital badges were first released in 2022. Since their launch, more than 10,000 people from the WorldSkills community have downloaded them as a way to demonstrate their skills excellence during job interviews and applications for further study. The Digital Badges are powered by Credly, a brand owned by WorldSkills Global Partner Pearson.

If you haven’t already claimed your digital badge from WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, now’s the time. Simply follow these steps:

  • Look for an email notification from Credly (admin@credly.com)
  • If this is your first Credly badge, follow the instructions in the email to set up your Credly account. If you already have a Credly account, then you just need to sign in.
  • Once you have signed in, you can easily configure your privacy settings in Credly. You are in complete control of the information about yourself that is made public.
  • You are now ready to share your badge directly from Credly to LinkedIn, Facebook, and X; over email, embedded in a website, or in your email signature.
