WorldSkills launches #WhatsYourSkill on TikTok ahead of World Youth Skills Day
In July, we will be launching #WhatsYourSkill on TikTok alongside our usual Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn accounts.
Each 15 July, the WorldSkills movement alongside the United Nations, recognizes the importance of global skills development with World Youth Skills Day.
Join us this year on social media as we recognize the individuals driving for new levels of personal success by using the hashtag #WhatsYourSkill. Share with us the ways in which you are mastering your skill. Show us what makes you skilled, celebrate your skill, and teach us something new about what makes your skill essential and special. In July, alongside our traditional social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn) we will also be launching #WhatsYourSkill on TikTok. Follow us along @WorldSkills to see Champions sharing their perspective on what it means to be skilled.
Join us for an online panel discussion
On 15 July, join Yousra Assali, WorldSkills Champion from Morocco, at the United Nation’s official recognition of World Youth Skills Day. This year’s theme is Reimagining Youth Skills Post-Pandemic, which aims to celebrate the resilience and creativity of youth throughout the crisis and focus attention on how technical and vocational education and training (TVET) systems have adapted to the pandemic, participate in the recovery, and imagine priorities they should adopt for the post-COVID-19 world.
