Mark Bramer

For over 25 years I have been involved with WorldSkills International serving in a variety of capacities such as Expert, Chief Expert, Skills Advisor and Expert Faculty. When asked what motivates me to continue, I respond that it is the passion I have for Skill Trades. To bring honour, prestige, and attention to often overlooked Skills is wonderful. Our economies of the world depend so heavily on vocational skills and WorldSkills raises that awareness for all to see.

I live in Canada and enjoy my time with family and friends involved in personal hobbies and community activities. I have recently retired from my 30-year career as Professor of Technology in a Polytechnic Institution, and continue to enjoy my journey in this new phase of life.
