Zhonghui Group joins WorldSkills as a Global Industry Partner

The skills community grows stronger with the announcement that Zhonghui Group has officially become a WorldSkills Global Industry Partner.

WorldSkills marked a new milestone today with the naming of Zhonghui Group, a leading Chinese software development company, as its newest Global Industry Partner.

The agreement was made at a special signing ceremony between the CEO of Zhonghui Group, Mr Howard Bin, President of WorldSkills, Francis Hourant, and David Hoey, CEO of WorldSkills International in Shanghai, as the city prepares to host the 48th WorldSkills Competition next year.

Zhonghui Group’s journey with WorldSkills began at WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition, where it offered technical advice and software for the Mobile Applications Development skill competition.

Zhonghui Group was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in Chengdu. It operates four Research & Development centres and seven branches across China, with a global footprint that extends across Asia, Europe, and North America.

The company has used its expertise in cutting-edge software solutions to design Technical and Vocational Education and Training programmes. Its teaching and training platforms, tailored to real-world applications, have been integrated into over 800 colleges and universities and are helping bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

At the official signing Mr Bin said, “As a WorldSkills Global Partner, we will continue to contribute to the development of WorldSkills Competition and vocational training. We will sponsor WorldSkills ASEAN 2025, WorldSkills GCC 2025, WorldSkills America 2025, and WorldSkills Africa.”

Mr Bin explained, “We will help provide free technical training to low-income countries, especially for African countries. To open some free online training resources and courses has been planned. I think this is our social responsibility.”

Francis responded by thanking Zhonghui Group’s for all its support and acknowledging its passion for skills excellence and its global success.

He said, “Zhonghui Group is an incredible example of the innovation that has made China a global powerhouse. Skills in software development will become a critical part of many jobs around the world which is why we are lucky to be able to draw on your deep knowledge and your global footprint.”

Inspired by the 75th anniversary of WorldSkills, Francis closed his speech with a promise of future collaboration, saying, “Let us use this landmark year and our new partnership to unite around a shared vision of skills excellence. Let us learn from each other and let us do all we can to help more young people unlock opportunities in technology.”

Now, as China prepares to host WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, Zhonghui Group’s elevation to WorldSkills Global Industry Partner signifies a shared commitment to make a lasting impact on the global stage for skills.
