Join us for the second WorldSkills Conference Talk Wednesday, 1 July, at 12pm (GMT).
Can skill competitions, training, and assessments be effective online? Register for free online...
This webinar will focus on the online delivery of skills competitions, training, and assessments. It will ask what can be achieved in a virtual format and what is most challenging to translate from in-person environments.
We will examine the practical approaches and solutions being carried out by different WorldSkills Members during the pandemic. While every organization is facing similar situations and obstacles caused by contact restrictions, the strategies to conduct trainings, assessments, and competitions differ significantly.
We are launching the discussion with an exchange between Ranjan Choudhury of WorldSkills India, Shaun Thorson of Skills/Compétences Canada, and Ekaterina Loshkareva, WorldSkills Board member and WorldSkills Russia. The discussion will be followed by an industry perspective from Jason Scales of Lincoln Electric and insights from Victoria Levin, Senior Economist & Global Lead for Skills at the World Bank.
During this session we want to examine examples that have been given and share first-hand experiences from Members. We not only want to discuss new opportunities.
