WorldSkills International invites the hundreds of thousands of people visiting the 47th WorldSkills Competition to post their experiences on social media.

Whether you’re a WorldSkills Lyon 2024 Competitor, Expert, Volunteer, Student, Media, Sponsor, Partner, visitor, or simply following the action and cheering on participants from home this 10–15 September, WorldSkills International wants to see it and share it.

Tag @WorldSkills and @WorldSkillsLyon2024 in your Competition content! Whether it’s photos, videos, Reels, carousel images, Story posts or otherwise—we’d love to see and potentially share your unique perspective to the world’s biggest skills Competition.

Don’t forget the Competition hashtag

Include the Competition hashtag in your posts: #WSC2024 (it stands for WorldSkills Competition 2024!) We anticipate millions of views on Competition content and that includes content you share.

Dip into our photos

To help bring the Competition to life, we’ll be capturing over 60,000 photos during WorldSkills Lyon 2024. And they are all free for you to use for personal and public non-commercial (educational) purposes. Just check out our Flickr account and share the images you love.

Show AND tell

If you’re planning to post about the Competition, be sure to share context! What skill are you competing in? Who are you cheering for? What booth did you visit at the venue? Show us your seats at the Opening Ceremony. Reflect on your day!

Follow along online if you can’t attend in person

Check worldskills.org for livestreaming links. The Competition Opening and Closing Ceremonies, and daily Competition links will be shared on the website and social media. We’re also sharing WorldSkills Conference 2024 livestreams!

Have fun with WorldSkills Lyon 2024 Instagram Story Stickers

WorldSkills International has created eye-catching Stickers/GIFs you can use to enhance your Competition content. The Stickers include titles like Competitor or Expert, medals (1st, 2nd, 3rd) hashtags and good luck messages. Just search “WorldSkills Lyon 2024” when browsing GIFs on Instagram Story. If you search “WorldSkills” you’ll also find other skills-related Stickers that may be relevant for your posts.

Claim your WorldSkills Digital Badge

It’s quick and easy to claim your digital badge to show off your WorldSkills experience! If you will be competing at WorldSkills Lyon 2024, or have participated in previous WorldSkills Competitions, watch for the email and then claim your digital credential to showcase how your WorldSkills experience has enhanced your abilities. The badge also tells the world how they can grow, prosper, and learn with WorldSkills, helping us reach more people and continue changing worlds though the power of skills.

The 47th WorldSkills Competition will be the biggest skills event in the world, with over a quarter of a million people expected to take part in person and online from 10–15 September in Lyon, France.
