Don’t miss your chance to become a social entrepreneur! Apply to be part of this year's edition of our social entrepreneurship programme before 25 May.

Have you always dreamed of being part of the solution to the world’s challenges? Are you currently developing a business idea and would benefit from further training and experienced support? BeChangeMaker 2024 could be your chance to turn your ideas into real impact.

The deadline for this year’s edition of the social entrepreneurship programme is approaching, with 25 May the last chance for teams to apply. Thirty teams will be selected to take part in this three-month programme, powered by WorldSkills and the HP Foundation, and supported by UNESCO-UNEVOC.  

From June to September, the chosen participants will receive dedicated coaching and mentoring, helping them develop their business ideas. The programme also provides a unique opportunity to tap into a diverse global network of potential supporters and investors. 

Following several online pitch competitions, the top five teams will present their ideas in a live pitch in Lyon, France, in front of a global audience of policymakers from education and industry during the 47th WorldSkills Competition and WorldSkills Conference 2024.

The top five teams will also receive customized post-programme training worth EUR 1,000, as well as the opportunity to be featured in UNESCO-UNEVOC‘s publications and to participate in important events. The top three teams will receive a cash award worth EUR 2,000.

Since 2017, BeChangeMaker has attracted more than 3,000 applications and supported 280 teams by giving them access to high-quality learning content on HP LIFE, dedicated coaching, mentoring, and customized support. In 2023, 572 teams applied from 87 countries.
