INTAMSYS joins WorldSkills community as a Global Partner
The world-leading 3D printing and additive manufacturing company becomes the newest WorldSkills Global Industry Partner and will support two skills at WorldSkills Lyon 2024.
The WorldSkills community grew today when INTAMSYS was named the newest Global Industry Partner. In a virtual ceremony, leaders from WorldSkills International and INTAMSYS signed the official agreement that sees the company become the first official 3D printing supplier.
INTAMSYS declared its commitment to skills back in 2019 with the intention of being a sponsor at WorldSkills Shanghai 2022. Despite the Competition being postponed, INTAMSYS continued discussions and is now delighted to be an official WorldSkills Global Industry Partner.
Headquartered in Shanghai, China, with a global sales and support network, INTAMSYS has technical service centres in Germany and the United States. The company was co-founded in 2016 by a team of engineers with expertise in precision equipment development and high-performance materials research. The company has global reach and works across multiple sectors including aerospace, electronic manufacturing, automotive, medical and scientific research, and consumer products.
“We are excited to be the WorldSkills Global Industry Partner,” said Charles Han, CEO and Founder of INTAMSYS. “Through our technical support and training initiatives, we are committed to bridging the gap between industry practices and vocational education, ensuring that young talents receive adequate training for real-world applications. Our goal is to inspire young people for technology and to strengthen industry and prosperity in society.”
INTAMSYS is already delivering on its commitment and will be supporting two skill events at WorldSkills Lyon 2024 next September. It will be supplying 3D printers and printing materials for Additive Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering CAD. The company’s portfolio incorporates a broad range of 3D printers, from “table” machines to industrial equipment that can deliver high productivity, making it a valuable and versatile Partner.
At the signing, Chris Humphries, Chair of WorldSkills, admired INTAMSYS’s passion for high-performance, precision, and quality. He said, “We look forward to benefiting from your cutting-edge expertise and your impressive resources and capabilities. We hope, in return, you will gain knowledge and insights about Vocational Education and Training as you work alongside our other Partners, our Members, and the inspiring young people whose skills we nurture.”
David Hoey, CEO of WorldSkills International, added, “This partnership comes at a very exciting time. Globally, we are witnessing a rapid growth in the use of 3D printing and additive manufacturing. We can already see how much we will learn from your experience working in multiple sectors, across international markets, and with customers of all sizes and scales.”
