INTAMSYS and WorldSkills renew their partnership

The successful collaboration that began in 2023 continues with the announcement that INTAMSYS will be a WorldSkills Global Industry Partner for the 48th WorldSkills Competition.

On Thursday, 6 March the world-leading 3D printing company INTAMSYS confirmed that it would continue as WorldSkills Global Industry Partner, proving its ongoing commitment to skills excellence.

The promise was made at an official signing ceremony held at INTAMSYS headquarters in Shanghai. The ceremony was attended by leading representatives from WorldSkills International and INTAMSYS, including both CEOs.

Known for its precision equipment in 3D printing, INTAMSYS operates across a breadth of sectors including aerospace, electronic manufacturing, automotive, medical and scientific research, and consumer products.

INTAMSYS has already shown its value as a Global Industry Partner at WorldSkills Lyon 2024 Competition. The global company supported two skill competitions – Mechanical Engineering CAD and Additive Manufacturing – by providing equipment and on-the-ground expertise.

In his speech, Han Chengchao, CEO of INTAMSYS, shared his highlights from the Competition in France and his excitement at the prospect of the next Competition being in China. He said, “From Lyon to Shanghai – this is special. For the first time, WorldSkills is coming home to INTAMSYS’ birthplace.”

Celebrating the renewal, he declared, “So mark this moment. In 2026, by the Huangpu River, when skills Champions fire up INTAMSYS machines, their victories won’t just shine on podiums. They’ll be a glowing business card from Chinese manufacturing to the global industry!”

At the signing, David Hoey, CEO of WorldSkills International acknowledged the great contribution INTAMSYS has made so far and the impact the two partners will go on to have.

He said, “It is an honour to collaborate with a team who value skills so highly, and it is fantastic to put your cutting-edge technology in the hands of our Competitors. We know our partnership will continue to grow to even bigger and greater things.”

Now as preparations intensify for the next WorldSkills Competition, David reflected, “We look towards WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, held in the city of your headquarters. We are excited to be working together to champion excellence and to put our young people on the global stage for skills.”
