Australia earns silver in Industrial Mechanics

Following the release of results for WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, WorldSkills Australia submitted an appeal in Industrial Mechanics.

After detailed investigation, the WorldSkills Board upheld their appeal, changing the medal awarded to Bailey Lowes from a Medal for Excellence to a Silver Medal.

The Official Results are now:

• Gold: KE CHEN, China
• Silver: BAILEY LOWES, Australia
• Silver: JEONGYUN CHOI, Korea
• Bronze: KEANU FRICK, Austria

The WorldSkills Board congratulates each of the Medallists for their outstanding achievement.
