Applications open for BeChangeMaker 2024

Inspire action and solve global issues: apply to our social entrepreneurship acceleration programme before 25 May.

Are you an entrepreneur with a business idea that can contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals? Join BeChangeMaker 2024, the eighth edition of our social entrepreneurship acceleration programme presented by WorldSkills and the HP Foundation, and supported by UNESCO-UNEVOC.

BeChangeMaker is an annual online training programme providing tools and technology for startup acceleration, dedicated coaching, mentoring and customized support, as well as the opportunity to tap into a diverse global network of potential supporters and investors.

From June to September, the high-quality learning content on HP LIFE tailored for entrepreneurs, business owners, students, and lifelong learners all over the world will be made available to the 30 teams selected to take part in the programme.

Along the way, a series of online pitches will lead the top five teams to present their social business ideas in front of a global crowd at the 47th WorldSkills Competition this September in Lyon, France, and a chance to win cash prizes.

Apply to BeChangeMaker 2024 before 25 May

To apply, you will need to find people who share your vision. Teams should be of 2 to 5 people, between 18 and 35 years old.

Since its inception, BeChangeMaker has supported skilled youth, helping them turn their business ideas into impact. Five impressive projects made it to the final last year in Dublin, Ireland, where Altogether, an accessible justice mobile application and service, was voted the most innovative idea.

Second place went to Medvax Health from Nigeria, a mobile application developed by two pharmacists focused on reducing health risks by providing swift access to safe medication at affordable prices.

You can watch their full pitches online.

If your business idea can solve global issues, join BeChangeMaker 2024 and make the world a better place.
