WorldSkills Leaders Forum 2015
The WorldSkills Conference Programme is specifically designed as a set of opportunities over the course of six days for participants to gather information, share best practice, discuss trends, and network. The Programme is open to leaders from all skill sectors, worldwide. As the premier Conference event, the WorldSkills Leaders Forum will bring together 500 of these leaders from business, industry, and governments to exchange ideas and engage in dialogue about how to inspire and prepare the next generation of skilled professionals - the individuals who will meet the future needs of the workplace, economies, and societies. These are the individuals who are the Competitors, Champions, and Experts of WorldSkills São Paulo 2015!

America’s highly skilled workforce meets in Louisville
SkillsUSA will come to Louisville, 22-26 June 2015 for its 51st annual National Leadership and Skills Conference, a showcase of the talent of career and technical education students. Quality career and technical education will be the centerpiece of the conference. More than 15,000 students, teachers, education leaders, and representatives from more than 600 national corporations, trade associations, businesses and labor unions will participate in the event. A special highlighted event will be the annual SkillsUSA Championships 24 and 25 June with 100 hands-on skill and leadership competitions.

WorldSkills Europe General Assembly held in Helsinki
The General Assembly of the WorldSkills Europe and related events was organised in Helsinki 18 - 21 May. The gathering takes place once a year in one of the member states of the organization. This was the first time that the venue was in Finland. Skills Finland held the meeting together with the Secretariat of WorldSkills Europe, and was helped in the practical arrangements by students from Porvoo Vocational College, or Amisto. Taking part in the meeting were official and technical delegates of the member states, as well as communications officers.

Unique international volunteering opportunities
Since 2013, WorldSkills Foundation (WSF) has sponsored WorldSkills Champions and Experts to support the Healthabitat Sanitation Studio programme worldwide; an ongoing series of team workshops focussing on design and construction of improved water and sanitation systems in communities that need them most. Each Sanitation Studio brings together cross-skilled teams of local and international participants, with an emphasis on sharing knowledge and experience together. These teams collaborate to deliver new and improved facilities that have profound impacts on health and quality of life in the local environment.
