2011 – The year for launching the future filled with endless opportunities

Our 60th Anniversary year was another great year for WorldSkills International! You celebrated with us in every corner of the world. China joined our membership making WorldSkills International 53 Members strong. With the addition of Lincoln Electric and Siemens as Global Industry Partners, we now have partnerships with 10 global corporations.

As the New Year begins we will continue working on and developing the key areas of our strategic goals from our 2020 Vision. The major event and core focus is WorldSkills London 2011 which takes place October 5-8, 2011. Thousands of Competitors, Experts, Delegates and supporters are already preparing for the Competition and it promises to be a superb event and experience for all.

With 60 successful years behind us, we look to the future with great aspirations and confidence. Join us in our 2020 Vision as we strive to improve the quality and sustainability of all aspects of the Competition and launch the WorldSkills Foundation with a program of advocacy and education activities.
