Applications are open for a new team of volunteer youth ambassadors to represent WorldSkills and make their mark in the world. Apply to join the WorldSkills Champions Trust for 2025 to 2026 and help advocate for the power of skills!


 

You need to be passionate about skills, dedicated to change, and eager to inspire the next generation. If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you. Competitors from the last three WorldSkills Competitions can apply:

What you need to know before you apply

  1. You must have competed at one of the last three WorldSkills Competitions (WorldSkills Kazan 2019, WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition, or WorldSkills Lyon 2024).
  2. You must be able to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  3. You must be able to commit to at least a two-year term which includes:
    • attending three mandatory meetings: Training Camp (May 2025), WorldSkills General Assembly 2025 (Dubrovnik, Croatia, October 2025), as well as WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 (22-27 September 2026)
    • regular communication with Champions Trust Representatives and WorldSkills International via email, Zoom, and WhatsApp.
  4. You must be fully available during the WorldSkills official events and cannot accept another WorldSkills role (i.e. Expert, Team Leader, Translator, Delegate, etc.).
  5. WorldSkills International will confirm a candidate's eligibility and suitability to join the Champions Trust with their WorldSkills Member organization.
