Skills improve people’s lives, drive economies, and build more resilient societies. Yet they are not valued enough.
In 2025, WorldSkills Members and Partners united to co-design a vision for the next decade. It is a blueprint for a better future — one where skills and skilled professionals sit at the heart of global progress and where they contribute to human and planetary well-being and economic growth.
WorldSkills Vision 2035 was formally approved at WorldSkills General Assembly 2026 in Shanghai. It is underpinned by three strategic goals and six focus areas.
