Have your say in the future of WorldSkills

Competitors of WorldSkills Competitions have reached an elite level, achieved by only a few in the world. We want to tap into that expertise, experience, and passion at the upcoming WorldSkills Champions Forum (WSCF).

From 1-7 October 2016 WorldSkills Champions, will descend on Niagara Falls supporting the development of the WorldSkills movement. WorldSkills benefits by learning from passionate individuals who have lived the WorldSkills experience, Members provide an enhanced opportunity for their distinguished alumni, and participants have the opportunity to extend their network by meeting Champions from around the world, develop leadership skills, and increase their involvement with the WorldSkills mission.

Alongside other Champions from the past three Competitions, Champions will be tasked with the challenge of creating ongoing opportunities to connect Champions to WorldSkills. Harnessing the diversity in skills, cultures, and experiences of Champions, they will spend the week working in groups to create projects that engage Champions, raise the profile of WorldSkills, and demonstrate the power of skills.WSCT_training_camp_183.jpg

Chirag Goel of the WorldSkills Champions Trust notes,"I am very excited that I will work with the Champions from all around the globe and to bring a positive impact in the world. Looking forward to it!" Chirag and the other representatives of the WorldSkills Champions Trust will play an important role in connecting the participating Champions to future WorldSkills initiatives.

If you competed at WorldSkills London 2011, WorldSkills Leipzig 2013, or WorldSkills São Paulo 2015, you are eligible to participate. If you would like to take part, contact your Member organization or Alex.Musial@WorldSkills.org for more details.
