Campaigning WorldSkills - Help WorldSkills launch its brand
The one month countdown towards the 3rd WorldSkills Youth Forum (WSYF) has
begun and we are very excited to be able to share what this year’s WSYF participants
can expect when arriving in Jamaica on October 5th.
The final attendance number for the WSYF2010 is 29 Champions from 12 countries/regions, representing 13 skill areas.
While we worked on six different topics at the WSYF2008, we will only focus on a single one this time: Creating a viral marketing campaign for WorldSkills. We will be taking the Champions back to their WorldSkills experience by challenging them to remember the journey from the WorldSkills Competition to where they are today. Through engaging workshops and inspiring presentations, the facilitator team will take them from WorldSkills Champions to WorldSkills Ambassadors.
Each group will be challenged with creating taglines and videos, while engaging with people of all age groups around the world on social media platforms. Through interactive presentations, the Champions will learn about target audiences, key messaging and taglines, as well as scripting and editing videos and finally - presenting their findings to the General Assembly and writing the final report.
