WorldSkills is hiring: Event Operations Manager
WorldSkills International (WSI) is seeking a highly motivated Event Operations Manager to play a key role in delivering the world’s largest skills event, WorldSkills Shanghai 2026.
WorldSkills is a movement that impacts the lives of young people through skills. The 89 Member countries and regions that are Members of WorldSkills reach two-thirds of the world’s population and create measurable impact at every level through skills development and promotion.
As part of WSI’s global, diverse, and virtual team, you will help shape one of the most complex and inspiring events in the world of skills. The Event Operations Manager will support and guide the Competition Organizer in planning and delivering WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, including major subevents such as Ceremonies, Excursions, and the One School One Country program.
This role is ideal for an experienced event professional who thrives in international and multicultural environments. You should bring at least five years of event operations and/or project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, make timely decisions, and work collaboratively across diverse stakeholders. We’re looking for an individual with strong communication skills, who is proactive, resourceful, and dedicated.
