We have a Winner!
By Isabella Staal, WorldSkills International
The results are in and we are proud to announce the top three entrants of our WorldSkills Leipzig 2013 Certificate design mini-competition! WorldSkills International announced the competition on 20 February calling on people looking to try out there creative side on designing a new participant certificate to be used for the upcoming 42nd WorldSkills Competition in Leipzig, Germany.
Entrants were required to design their unique certificates and include a paragraph explaining the concept behind their design. Looking through the submissions it was evident that each participant had put careful thought and detail into their ideas which was inspiring to see. There was plenty of interest in the competition and we thank you all for your innovative entries, it was a tough decision! However we were especially impressed by the following independent entries and therefore have awarded these participants the top three places in the mini-competition:
First Place: Iraj Asadi Iran |
Second Place: Nao Hatanaka Japan |
Third Place: Matthew Fitzgerald United Kingdom |
Congratulations to you all! If you missed out this time and are interested in our mini-competitions simply head on over to our official Facebook page (see link below) to keep up to date on information as we lead up to WorldSkills Leipzig 2013. Who knows we may even have another mini-competition. There are fantastic prizes to be won and it is a great way to get involved.
