Volunteers sign up to support WorldSkills Leipzig 2013

With just under a year to go until Leipzig hosts the 42nd WorldSkills Competition, over 100 people from across the world have already signed up to volunteer at this prestigious event.

Volunteers are an essential part of making any WorldSkills Competition a success and WorldSkills Leipzig 2013 have identified 12 categories for people to support the event. From helping with Accreditation and Visitor Services to meeting and greeting special guests and guiding them around the Competition, there are a wide variety of ways to get involved.

Thomas Hetzel from the Volunteer team at WorldSkills Leipzig 2013 said; “We are thrilled to have so much interest particularly from people who have volunteered at previous WorldSkills events. This is a fantastic opportunity for people to take part in a once in a lifetime event and develop their skills at the same time.”
