The main objective of the meetings was to prepare for the upcoming Technical Committee meetings in September, as well as to advance the preparations for WorldSkills Sao Paulo 2015.
Technical Delegates from eleven Members joined in some fruitful and challenging discussions about important topics such as Competition Rules, logistics, infrastructure, sustainability, health and safety, competition assessment, and training of new Members. In addition Delegates discussed the ongoing involvement of Champions at a national level and began thinking about how WorldSkills can remain sustainable as the Membership grows.
"There were three intense and productive days. Aligning aspects that will impact positively on the Competition, such as the layout of Anhembi Park, the venue. Modifications will be made regarding the distribution and division of some spaces of the skills, staff and visitors," said Ademir Bernardes, Coordinator of Brazil's Infrastructure.
Outcomes of the meeting clearly illustrate a shared vision between the Members, WorldSkills and the current Competition Organizer for WorldSkills Sao Paulo 2015 and beyond.
The first meeting was held in January in Abu Dhabi and the next will be in November in Brazil.
