Technical Delegate from Kenya becomes Worlddidac Ambassador

Global education resources trade association Worlddidac appoints WorldSkills Kenya Technical Delegate Peter Monari to be Ambassador for Africa.

WorldSkills Kenya Technical Delegate Peter Monari has been appointed Ambassador for Africa by the global education resources trade association, Worlddidac.

In his new role, Dr Joseph will seek to enhance public/private partnerships between learning institutions, industries, governments, experts, and international research centers in the education sector.

His goal, he says, is “ensuring skills development for Africa is spurred to achieve the social-economic development for Africa countries,” and “particularly skills and access quality education for young people and women across Africa.”

He has a particular interest in using his expertise to improve the part TVET institutions can play in sustainable development.

Worlddidac will be familiar to WorldSkills Members through Festo and Lincoln Electric, our Global Industry Partners and also senior members of the association.

Originally founded in 1952 and now based in Bern, Switzerland, Worlddidac describes itself as “one of the world’s leading business forums specifically for the promotion of trade and investment within the education market worldwide.”
