Skills Canada Alberta Legacy Partner of WorldSkills Calgary 2009

sca_image2_250.jpgIn recognition of Skills Canada Alberta and Skills/Compétences Canada establishing WorldSkills Calgary 2009 Ltd. (WS Calgary 2009) to host the 40th WorldSkills Competition, we are the official Legacy Partner of WSC2009.

As the nations' voice in celebrating excellence and promoting trade and technology careers, Skills/Compétences Canada brings to the world stage Canada's finest young talent. By hosting the 40th WorldSkills Competition in Alberta the Skills Movement will continue to grow and attract more partners, educators and youth.

"When people attend a Skills Canada competition, whether at a Regional, Provincial, Canadian or WorldSkills level they are impacted by the enthusiasm, pride and passion everyone connected to the Skills Movement has," said Chris Browton, Executive Director of Skills Canada Alberta. "The thousands of students that will participate and tour the Competitions this year will been have an incredible opportunity to explore and develop their knowledge of skilled trade and technology career options."
