With the WorldSkills competition coming to Calgary in September, host SAIT is gearing up to tell Calgary all about the big event.

The printing and publishing industry is promoting the event by putting decals on Unicom Graphics and Gould Paper Corporation’s trucks starting this month.

The decals have been created by SAIT students in the Digital Graphics Communications programs (DGC). SAIT got involved because one of its DGC students placed second in a printing competition in Toronto.

“The decals are being printed by SAIT DGC students,” said Willem Sijpheer, academic chair of journalism and graphics communications.

Both Unicom and Gould are leaders in their fields of print communications and distribution.
