One School One Country Launches in Kazan

On 25 January, One School One Country launched, connecting 57 schools in Kazan with WorldSkills Members from around the world. The goal of this programme is to promote skills to youth, and provide a cultural exchange between the Competitors and local Russian students.

The Technical Delegates from WorldSkills met with the 57 schools that will host 1,600 Competitors for the cultural exchange in August. During WorldSkills Kazan 2019, local Russian students will see how developing skills leads to endless career choices, while the Competitors will learn more the Russian culture.

“We are sure that One School One Country will give delegates and school students of Kazan unforgettable experience. They will understand the importance of skills in our modern world and feel the atmosphere of international culture,” said President of WorldSkills International Simon Bartley.
