The heat is on in Welding

Competitors in welding are behind protective red screens, and sometimes the drama can go unnoticed. UK Competitor Jake Rambaldini recently competed in Welding in the Global Skills Challenge, a training opportunity in Australia in May 2011. He competed with an eye injury, refusing to stop, and was marked at 88% using WorldSkills criteria. In WorldSkills Calgary 2009 this mark would have been a silver medal.  The UK team are hoping for an injury free medal for their competitor now he is competing on home ground.
