Fresh prints

Throughout the venue you can find bright posters and postcards for all to enjoy, thanks to Print Media Technology.

Competitors are being put to the test with the production of several print projects on a variety of machines.

Photograph to the right shows the Armenian Competitor mixing process ink for press printing.

The projects consist of digital and press printing practices - from preparing the artwork for plates, to trimming the final product. One component of the competition even has Competitors mixing their ink by hand before running the press.

These fine-quality prints are being utilized as promotional products for WorldSkills Leipzig 2013, and advertisements for the next WorldSkills Competition happening in Brazil, 2015.
