First impressions
Competitions are now underway. Thousands of students and observers flooded the venue at 10:00am, Wednesday morning.
Linda from Rudolf-Hildebrand-Schule in Leipzig says that her first impression of the WorldSkills Leipzig 2013 is that "it's a great thing".
Team France visited Linda's school yesterday as part of the One School, One Country event. "They seemed like fun people and were eager to compete. I hope they do well in the Competition."
John, an observer from Team Singapore has been walking through the event since this morning. This is the second WorldSkills Competition that John has attended. "The biggest difference I see since the last Competition I attended are the number of competitors in each skill area. The competition is stiff. The judges are certainly in for a challenge."
The competition is open to the general public from July 3-6th, beginning at 9:00am.
