Countdown to WorldSkills London 2011

WorldSkills London 2011 takes place from 5-8 October 2011 at ExCeL London – bringing together 1,000 young skilled professionals from over 50 countries/regions to compete in 46 skills areas, from seven sectors, ranging from creative arts and fashion to transportation and logistics.

WorldSkills Competitions bring a huge range of benefits to young people, teachers and employers as well as helping to redefine the meaning of ‘world class skills’ and creating future trade, education and enterprise opportunities.

Join us in London for the biggest international skills competition in the world. Over 150,000 visitors are expected to attend and plans are progressing to make this the best WorldSkills Competition yet. On offer are spectacular Opening and Closing Ceremonies, four days of Competition – using all of ExCeL London’s 90,000m2 of space – and a range of exciting interactive Have a Go activities and Showcase performances designed to engage and inspire people of all ages.
