Changes to the Sponsorship of IT Network Systems Administration

For over 10 years, WorldSkills and Cisco have partnered in the delivery of IT Network Systems Administration. Cisco’s generous support of IT Network Systems Administration, as well as their leadership as a Global Industry Partner, has established the critical role information and communications technology careers have in improving the world through the power of skills.

WorldSkills is grateful for the decade of support Cisco has provided to WorldSkills, and the WorldSkills Regional and Member skills competitions. As of February 2016, Cisco will no longer operate as a Global Partner. To focus resources on providing digitization content and experiences through the NetAcad environment, Cisco will grant permission to local, regional, and global competitions to use Cisco Packet Tracer, however equipment to WorldSkills, Regional and Member skills competitions will no longer be provided by Cisco.

The partnership between WorldSkills and Cisco has elevated the skills of IT professionals around the world. WorldSkills thanks Cisco for their leadership in establishing IT Network Systems Administration, and for their support as a Global Industry Partner.
