Visitors can prepare to be moved by a spectacular photograph, entertained by a performance or challenged to solve a crime when they visit WorldSkills London 2011 and make their way around the Competition.

Over 75 organisations are set to wow the estimated 150,000 visitors attending the Competition at ExCeL London with examples of their finest talent from across the UK.

Pauline Waterhouse OBE is Principal of Blackpool and Fylde College, which has 3 showcases at the event. She says: “I was delighted we were selected to showcase some of our talent at WorldSkills London 2011. This is a fantastic opportunity for our students as they will get the chance to display their skills in front of an international audience at an exciting global skills event. Our hope is that other young people will see our work and feel inspired to follow their interests and ambitions too.”

She continues: “It is also a great opportunity for us to showcase to the world what we are teaching in the UK in a dedicated environment.”

Showcasing stages can be found throughout the event and live performances will be published in advance on the WorldSkills London 2011 website:   worldskillslondon2011.com/showcase
