Australia retains ranking of 5th in the world

The WorldSkills Australia Skillaroos have retained the world ranking of 5th in the world! By doubling the number of medals awarded in the previous WorldSkills Competition in Japan 2007, Australia has once again proven they are a highly-skilled nation.

Following last night's Closing Ceremony medal presentations, 12 Medallions of Excellence were awarded this morning to the following Competitors:

In the same ceremony, the inaugural Expert of the Year award was presented to Sue Collins, the Deputy Chief Expert for Beauty Therapy.
