And now the wait begins ...

Quiet has descended. The massive halls of ExCeL London are empty of visitors. The sound of the saws and drills has stopped. The scent of cooking has long since past. After four days of brilliant competition, WorldSkills London 2011 Competitors today completed their final tasks, and now nervously await Sunday night’s Closing Ceremony to discover who will be awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze.

Experts are finalising marks and staff work through the night to ensure all is ready for the Closing Ceremony tomorrow night (Sunday 9th October 2011). What a fantastic competition it has been. Every country is rightfully proud of their amazing Competitors who have spent the past four days completing test projects of the highest standard. Good luck to you all!
